This Privacy Policy explains how KodyMatch collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal information when you use our website, app experiences, matching features, chat, video calling, paid products, support channels, and related services.

KodyMatch is designed for adults. We do not knowingly allow people under 18 to create accounts or use the service.

This policy is written for a production environment. Before public launch, replace placeholder support contact details with your official company, address, and data protection contact information.

Account information: username, email address, password credentials, verification status, authentication tokens, and account security metadata.

Profile information: display name, date of birth, gender, interests, bio, job title, height, city, preferences, profile completeness, premium status, photos, and other information you choose to provide.

Location and preference information: approximate or precise location if you grant permission, city, distance preferences, age preferences, discovery filters, and matching choices.

Communications and interactions: matches, likes, swipes, chat messages, read status, call metadata, gifts, reports, blocks, notifications, and safety-related records.

Payment and transaction information: plan or point pack selected, amount, currency, payment reference, payment status, subscription period, wallet balance, point transactions, and gift sends. Payment processors may collect payment credentials directly; KodyMatch does not need to store full card numbers.

Device, browser, and usage information: IP address, user agent, session events, diagnostic logs, security events, app route usage, and operational metadata needed to secure, debug, and improve the service.

KodyMatch does not use third-party advertising cookies in this app.

We use browser storage for essential and preference-based purposes, including login/session support, privacy notice acknowledgement, theme preference, user interface preferences, and app settings that improve the experience.

You can clear browser storage through your browser settings. Clearing it may sign you out, reset preferences, show notices again, or reduce app functionality until settings are recreated.

We use personal information to create and secure accounts, provide matching and discovery features, display profiles, enable chat and video calls, process subscriptions and points, deliver gifts, send notifications, and provide support.

We use information to personalize the app, maintain preferences, calculate profile completeness, enforce daily or premium limits, recommend compatible profiles, and show relevant app states.

We use information to detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, spam, abuse, safety threats, unauthorized access, policy violations, payment disputes, and technical issues.

We may use aggregated or de-identified information to understand service performance, improve features, plan product decisions, and measure reliability.

Where applicable privacy law requires a legal basis, we process information to perform our contract with you, comply with legal obligations, protect vital interests and member safety, pursue legitimate interests such as security and service improvement, and obtain consent where required.

You may withdraw consent for optional processing, such as location access, through device or browser settings. Withdrawal may limit features that depend on that permission.

We share profile information with other members according to app features and your settings. For example, your profile photo, display name, bio, and selected details may appear in discovery, matches, chats, and calls.

We share limited information with service providers that help us operate the service, such as hosting providers, email delivery tools, storage providers, analytics or diagnostics providers, customer support tools, fraud prevention tools, and payment processors.

We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, court order, regulator request, or where we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to protect members, prevent fraud, enforce our terms, investigate abuse, or protect the rights and safety of KodyMatch or others.

We do not sell personal information in the ordinary meaning of selling member profiles for money. If future advertising or data-sharing practices change, this policy should be updated before launch.

Photos and messages are processed to provide profile, matching, and communication features. Safety reports, blocks, and moderation records may be reviewed by authorized personnel or systems to investigate abuse and enforce policy.

Private messages are not public, but they may be processed for delivery, storage, synchronization, safety, abuse prevention, legal compliance, and support where appropriate.

Do not upload sensitive documents, payment credentials, private addresses, or information you do not want other members or authorized service operators to process.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain your account, satisfy legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, protect safety, and maintain security records.

Some information may remain in backups, logs, audit records, payment records, fraud prevention records, or safety records for a limited period after account deletion where retention is necessary or legally permitted.

When information is no longer required, we delete, anonymize, or de-identify it using commercially reasonable methods.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including authentication controls, access restrictions, secure transport, password hashing, environment separation, and monitoring.

No online service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your password, devices, email account, and any one-time codes or reset links.

You can update many profile and preference details directly in the app. You can disable browser permissions such as location through your browser or device settings.

KodyMatch and its service providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers, such as contractual commitments, security controls, and provider due diligence.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service, law, or operational practices change. The effective date above indicates the current version. If changes materially affect your rights or how we use personal information, we will take reasonable steps to provide notice.
