Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of KodyMatch, including the website, mobile or web app experiences, account features, matching tools, chat, video calling, premium subscriptions, points, gifts, safety features, and related services.

By creating an account, signing in, purchasing a product, sending a message, uploading content, or otherwise using KodyMatch, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.

You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement in your location. If you use KodyMatch on behalf of another person or organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for them.

KodyMatch is intended only for adults who are at least 18 years old. You may not create an account or use the service if you are under 18, barred from using similar services by law, or previously removed for safety, fraud, or policy violations.

You agree to provide accurate registration and profile information, keep your login credentials secure, and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account, including messages, profile content, purchases, gifts, and interactions with other members.

You retain ownership of content you submit, including profile details, photos, interests, messages, and other materials. You grant KodyMatch a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, display, transmit, and use that content as necessary to operate, secure, improve, and promote the service.

You must not upload or share content that is unlawful, abusive, threatening, exploitative, sexually explicit involving minors, fraudulent, misleading, discriminatory, harassing, hateful, invasive of privacy, or infringing on another person’s rights.

You may not impersonate another person, misrepresent your age or identity, scrape the service, automate interactions, reverse engineer protected parts of the service, interfere with security controls, or use KodyMatch for scams, commercial solicitation, spam, or harassment.

KodyMatch may remove content, limit visibility, suspend accounts, or terminate access when we reasonably believe these Terms, our safety standards, or applicable law have been violated.

KodyMatch provides tools that help people discover and communicate with one another. We do not guarantee compatibility, relationship outcomes, member availability, identity accuracy, or that every interaction will be safe or appropriate.

You are responsible for your decisions when communicating with or meeting other members. Use caution, protect personal and financial information, meet in public places when appropriate, and use available report or block tools if a member behaves suspiciously or abusively.

We may review reports, account metadata, and relevant content where necessary to investigate safety issues, enforce these Terms, prevent fraud, respond to legal requests, or protect members and the service.

KodyMatch may offer premium plans, points, boosts, gifts, video call features, or other paid products. Prices, availability, features, duration, and limits may change prospectively, but changes will not remove paid access already granted for an active period except where required for safety, legal, fraud, or enforcement reasons.

Payments are processed by payment providers such as Paystack. KodyMatch does not need to store full card numbers or full payment credentials. Your payment provider may apply its own terms, verification checks, fees, or limits.

Premium subscriptions provide access for the stated period shown at checkout. Points and gifts are digital products for in-app use and have no cash value unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Unless a refund is required by law or expressly approved by us, completed digital purchases are final once access, points, gifts, or subscription benefits are delivered.

We aim to provide a reliable service, but KodyMatch may be unavailable because of maintenance, infrastructure issues, third-party services, security incidents, or events beyond our reasonable control.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, interfaces, pricing, limits, or availability. Where a change materially affects active paid access, we will take reasonable steps to provide notice or an appropriate remedy where required by law.

Prototype, beta, or early-access features may be incomplete, change frequently, and contain defects. You use those features at your own discretion.

KodyMatch, including its brand, interface, software, design, logos, icons, text, and service features, is protected by intellectual property and other laws. Except for rights expressly granted to you, we and our licensors retain all rights in the service.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or create derivative works from KodyMatch except as permitted by law or with our written permission.

KodyMatch is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and error-free operation.

We are not responsible for the conduct, content, statements, or actions of members or third parties. You understand that online and offline interactions carry risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KodyMatch will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or unauthorized access caused by factors outside our reasonable control.

You may stop using KodyMatch at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk for other members, used the service unlawfully, or caused operational, legal, or security risk.

After termination, provisions that by nature should survive will continue, including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, limitation of liability, dispute provisions, and enforcement rights.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above shows when the current version applies. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
